FAQ
When do I receive my photos?
Final images are delivered within 10 working days once you’ve placed your retouching order and completed payment. If you’re on a tight deadline, just let me know—I’ll do my best to get your portraits to you in time.
What should I wear for my session?
I recommend bringing two types of outfits: one that feels like you and makes you comfortable, and another that’s a little more adventurous — maybe something you’ve been waiting for the right occasion to wear. If you’re still unsure, bring a wider variety; we can decide together. Neutral colours are always a safe choice.
How do I prepare for my session?
A good night’s sleep, staying hydrated, and avoiding too much alcohol the day before can help you feel your best for your session. But I know life gets busy—if you’re squeezing this into a hectic schedule, just follow my downloadable PDF on what to wear, show up, and let me take care of the rest. Your session should be enjoyable, not stressful.
What if I'm not photogenic?
Everyone is photogenic. If a photo doesn’t look right, it’s usually because you’re feeling uncomfortable or nervous. I’ll guide you through the session so you feel relaxed—and you’ll probably find you enjoy it more than you expected. Any shots we don’t love? We delete them!
Where is your studio?
Our Studio is based in a cosy home in Cashew Heights, Singapore. Designed for comfort and creativity, it’s a relaxed space where we can take our time to capture portraits that feel authentic and personal. Sessions are by appointment only, ensuring a focused and enjoyable experience.
Can I select the background?
Of course! You can choose from my selection of classic white or grey backdrops, add a touch of colour with my range of Colorama papers, or select from hand-painted canvas backdrops. I’ll guide you based on your skin tone, hair colour, and wardrobe to create the mood you’re aiming for. Custom colours can also be created to match corporate branding if needed.
Do you photograph groups?
On-location sessions can accommodate group shots of any size, while my home studio is best for small groups. Let me know your needs, and I’ll provide a tailored quote.
Can you come to our office?
Absolutely! On-site headshots are the most convenient option for your team or company. Just let me know your location and team size, and I’ll provide a tailored quote.
What does retouching mean?
Retouching is all about quality control. Every detail is carefully reviewed—temporary blemishes, stray hairs, or anything distracting is subtly corrected so the focus stays on your expression. All images are optimised for brightness, colour, and contrast to ensure a polished, professional finish.
